Arielle Schussler graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Philosophy in 2013. Since then, she has contemplated the meaning of life over caffeine, carbs, and sugar. She is a practiced napper, an ardent bubble bath soaker, a constant bookstore lurker, and a devout epistemological skeptic.

Katie Walker is a California native, as well as a lover of all things written—including menus and ingredient labels. Katie graduated from CSU Sacramento with her BA in English Literature. Presently you can find her reveling in the beauty surrounding Saint Mary’s, and even in the industrial oil refineries of Martinez where she lives.

Anna Harmon

Anna Harmon is a first-year poet in the Saint Mary’s MFA program. In 2015, she graduated from University of Washington, Seattle, and someday hopes to return to the Pacific Northwest. When she isn’t writing poetry or working on the MARY Journal, she is working at an East Bay bakery and is known to bring cookies or other treats to workshop classes. She is also preparing to teach a composition class this fall.
